Belal Muhammad was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, United States to Palestinian parents; Abdullah Muhammad (father) and Maha Muhammad (mother) who are Palestinian immigrants and raised Belal in the United States.

His father used to work at the City of Chicago for three years until 9/11 and thereafter he was fired. Later his father owned a cell phone store in Chicago.

For nearly fifteen years, his father’s business helped in supporting his family. But unfortunately, Abdullah had to shut down his business after his store was vandalized during the Black Lives Matter protest in June 2020.
