Dew you know who’s celebrating a 20th birthday this month? I’ll give you three guesses. Nah, just kidding, I’ll spoil it for you: Mtn Dew Baja Blast is turning 20, and they are celebrating by giving us a gift: Mtn Dew Doritos. More specifically, Mtn Dew Doritos inspired by Baja Blast. Yes, you read that right. Mtn Dew and Doritos are teaming up on a Baja Blast-inspired Doritos flavor. But it isn’t just straight-up Baja Blast flavored, no siree. They tailored it to be something one could comfortably call both a viable chip flavor and a soda flavor: Doritos Baja Fiery Mango.

What will make Baja Mango Doritos so fiery? Their propensity for large amounts of randomly timed and unbridled sass? Their passion for the arts? Peppers?

Turns out, probably habanero, among some other chile peppers. As a Doritos spokesperson told Food & Wine, the Doritos flavor team didn’t want to make 1:1 Baja Blast-flavored Doritos. Instead, “the team was particularly drawn to the mango habanero flavor combination.” These Fiery Mango chips will supposedly have some of the tanginess, fruitiness, and earthiness of mangoes, plus the fiery heat of a blend of different chiles.

If these end up tasting anything like the Mango Salsa Lay’s from the “Do Us a Flavor” campaign back in the 2010s, I can die happy (or at least be happy for the time being—driving a golf cart is still on my bucket list, as is meeting at least one U.S. President…’s dog, two things that are equally likely to happen). And the birthday fun doesn’t stop there—you know Mtn and Doritos would never dew anything as basic as just releasing a new flavor. They are also doing a swag giveaway. We, the consumers, can scan the chip bags to enter for a chance to win some Doritos x Bajagear and/or earn some “coins” to spend at the Baja Blast Shop. But if you accidentally eat all your Mtn Dew Doritos and throw away the bag without scanning, never fear. You can still enter the monthly sweepstakes they have going in honor of Baja Blast’s Birthday to try to win some gear.

As for when we can try these bad boys, the answer is now (sort of). Doritos Baja Fiery Mango blazed into select stores last weekend and will be available in grocery stores nationwide starting on April 28. So you can bet that when I catch wind of these chips in a store near me, I’m going to be riding over there in style in a golf cart along with a very presidential-looking dog to snatch up a bag—and then I can die happy.
